In this book that is now available in two differnet paper versions as well (color or b/w), Petter Amundsen, featured on the TV show The Curse of Oak Island, argues that Shakespeare was part of the Rosicrucian movement, and that his books give clues to the whereabouts of the fabled Rosicrucian vault.

Petter's theory is infallible, in my opinion. Having seen his documentary (available on Amazon Prime by the way) CRACKING THE SHAKESPEARE CODE & Vimeo's THE SWEET SWAN OF AVON....it helps put everything in an understandable order. Absolutely riveting & brilliant & you will be a true 'Baconian' when you finish reading this. Additionally, Petter's english written book, THE SEVEN STEPS TO MERCY will add to your knowledge of his theory. It was fun to make Petter's markings in my newly purchased copy of SHAKESPEARE THE FIRST FOLIO-1968 NORTON FACSIMILE edition!

Oak Island the Treasure Map in Shakespeare edition by Petter Amundsen Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Get ready for an adventure almost too good to be true! I have seen both the television series and film about
the "Shakespeare Code" and I have also read the book "the organist" a few years ago.
This new book is well
written and relatively easy to read. (The
Organist is more detailed and comprehensive.) I think that anyone who is curious about Shaxpeare, Bacan and Oak Island should study this booke upon deciding what they want to believe ) Recommended!
A book by any other author would not smell as sweet! The Swan of Avon, or the New Temple? Who was the real Shakespeare? And what is the mysterious treasure buried on Oak Island? Using ingenious code-breaking techniques that are astonishingly clever this author will completely blow your mind with his game-changing revelations. By the time you’ve finished this book you feel that you are almost an expert in cryptography, acrostics, geometry, Shakespearean-era history, reading words backwards, detecting Pythagoras triangles, knowledge of constellations, feeling connected to the mission of the Knights Templar, Rosicrucians, and Freemasons, and finally getting to enjoy deciphering a treasure map at the end of it. The best part? It is not fiction. This could really be the most amazing history/mystery-solving adventure for the past few hundreds & thousands of years!
if your looking for a Devinci code type book, this isn't it. If you are a big fan of geometry and Cryptology and want to go through William Shakespeare's works this book is right up your alley. excellent for the determined cytologist not much of a buried treasure adventure book.
Having been thrilled by the Oak Island mystery since I was a kid, this book really excited me. Not only does the author reveal his theory on what he believes is hidden on the island - he also reasons in a perfectly logical (and complicated) way about how he came to his conclusion. Hint Shakespeare and Francis Bacon are central. If Amundsen is right, the history books will have to be rewritten.
Very informative and a very thought out and laid out claim to Sir Francis Bacon and the RC being the author of the William Shakespear plays and sonnets. I simply loved Petter Admundsen thorough research and the way he placed it all in a pattern to bring the book to a final conclusion. Does not get much better than this.
This book is quite technical and is for the more serious at heart. Each chapter builds on the previous one and paints a very complex and interesting picture. The amount of research needed to complete this book must have been exhaustive. All in all I really enjoyed the book and believe Petter is on to something that can't be ignored in the quest to solving the Oak Island mystery and the Shakespeare controversy. There is also a film being released called "Shakespeare the Hidden Truth" and it is also very well produced and gives you a summarized overview of the material contained in the book. If I had to summarize the book (and the movie in fact) into one word, it would be MINDBENDING.
This is a fascinating interpretation of the possible codes and clues cleverly hidden in the First Folios of Shakespeare. Petter Amundsen has written a very detailed explanation of why he feels he has cracked the codes revealing what may be hidden on Oak Island off the coast of Nova Scotia. Peter does a wonderful job simplifying very complex information thus proving there is more than merely coincidence at play in his theories. Very well written, well edited book.
